Events We Love: Dine. Drink. Dress.

It’s almost time for one of our favorite charitable nights of the summer: Dine. Drink. Dress is coming up at Strongwater on Thursday, June 18th. Also known as D3, the annual event benefits Dress for Success Columbus, and the evening always turns out some of our city’s finest fashion-loving ladies and gents.

Our stylists work closely with Dress for Success Columbus, which is a non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve their goals through free-of-charge suiting, a network of support, and career development tools. We often donate items from client closet clean-outs to Dress for Success, which is kind enough to offer pick up services of donations from Wardrobe Therapy clients. The D3 event has become an initiative to raise money and awareness for the organization, and our team is so happy to be attending the fabulously fun evening this year showing support for an amazing community resource.

As we gear up for the event, we’re outfitting our clients as well as ourselves! When thinking about my outfit, I applied the same mindset of maximized versatility of pieces that I use for my clients’ wardrobes and outfitting. I love the fact that I can wear this cape blazer multiple ways, and plan to dress it up for D3 by pairing it with strappy nude heels, a grey shift dress, and delicate gold necklaces.

For a more casual daytime look, I’ll wear the cape blazer with a white v-neck tee tucked into light-washed bootcut denim, add some height with a neutral heel, and finish with a long necklace.
