Happy Heart Month!

Happy Heart Month!

We are looking forward to our third “Style with Substance” event,  featuring education from the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women.  Join us next Thursday evening, February 11 from 5-8pm to learn how to take a stand against heart disease and fight the No. 1 killer of women. To RSVP, please do so online, here!

We asked the ladies of the American Heart Association to give us some information that we could share with you, to emphasize the importance of AWARENESS.

“We have made great strides towards improving women’s heart health since the inception of Go Red in 2004 by increasing awareness from 8% to over 50% about heart disease claiming 1 in 3 women’s lives and we will continue to fight for every female heartbeat because of your support so that heart diseases and strokes no longer claim the lives of our mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and coworkers.

With the support of our mission to help educate our communities about heart disease and stroke, we can save more lives.  February 1st  kicked off American Heart Month.  Your help to spread the RED all month long is greatly appreciated.  Don’t forget to share that Wear Red Day is Friday, February 5 and rally all of your colleagues to GO RED.  Remember to snap a photo and encourage to post on social media using #GoRedCbus.”
