BBQ, Baseball and Brunch: Father’s Day Outfit Ideas 2018

With Father’s Day happening this weekend, we wanted to dedicate this post to the gents. From the perfect backyard BBQ to a Baseball game to Brunch al fresco at Lindey’s, we’ve got you covered. Here are 3 easy, but perfectly stylish outfit ideas for Father’s Day!

1 Buck Mason Henely  | 2. Vince Sweater | 3. J. Crew Shorts | 4. Prive Revaux Sunglasses  | 5. Sporty: Hugo Boss Sneaker   | 6. Preppy: Sperry

For the dad who is ready to BBQ this Father’s Day, we love a simple look that can be layered accordingly. Whether it’s a day BBQ grilling burgers or an evening gathering for the family, we love this casual look for the Dad who’s important to you.
A simple Henley takes the t-shirt game up a notch and having the extra layer adds a casual evening feel. If Preppy is his style, add a pop of red in the shoe, like this Red Sperry. If he’s a bit more sporty… sneakers are still game on. Of course, don’t forget the sunglasses.
For our guys heading out to a Baseball game, we love the elevated but casual look. Pairing a lightweight crisp white oxford (rolling the sleeves back of course) with a chambray short is definitely a Baseball approved look. To give the look that classic Americana sporty vibe, we recommend reaching for a cool leather sneaker like this one by Cole Haan. For finishing touches, we love this New Era Baseball cap and the Caravan aviators by Ray-Ban!
For our guys heading to a Brunch this Father’s Day, it’s all about the white denim. Tropical print is a major trend this Summer, but if it’s not your thing, no worries! We’re also loving vertical stripes for men–opt for one on a smaller scale for a more conservative look! The sneaker is still a staple shoe, and this Cole Haan option in grey helps ground the look while adding a new neutral to the white base. Don’t forget your shades, especially if you’re dining al fresco somewhere–like one of our favorite local spots, the patio at Lindey’s!
