WHIT’S SELECT | FRINGE AS MOVEMENT

WHY SHE LOVES IT:

I love this top from Simon Miller because it is a fun twist on a crocheted summer shell.

The simple asymmetrical hem elevates basic jeans or a classic skirt from ordinary to effortlessly chic, while the fringe detail adds visual interest with little effort.

HER INSIDER TIP FOR EVERYDAY FRINGE STYLING:

If you’re looking to incorporate this trend into your closet, look for what I call “clever” fringe on classic, everyday items: the cuff of a top or jacket, or the hemline of a skirt.

The fringe will feel refined yet unexpected – and a little less overwhelming or costume!

CANDACE’S SELECT | FRINGE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX

WHY SHE LOVES IT:

Say hello to your new personality pant for spring/summer! I love that the pants have a flat front with streamlined pockets, giving you a nice clean fit through the waist.

Additionally, the balance of the flat front and the fringe detail at the bottom naturally draws the eye down creating beautiful visual interest.

HOW SHE’D STYLE IT:

To complete this look, keep it simple with a fitted tee, tank, or bodysuit. And add a slightly cropped, waist-length layer for a finishing touch!

CHRISTINE’S SELECT | FRINGE AS AN ACCESSORY

WHY SHE LOVES IT:

I’m hopping on the fringe trend this season because it’s a fun, easy way to add a little flair to your outfit. If you’re unsure about adding a clothing piece with fringe, try it with your accessories.

This is a more subtle way to incorporate it into your look. I love the versatility of this crossbody bag by Ulla Johnson.

HER CROSSBODY VS. CLUTCH STYLING TIP:

Wear it as a crossbody with jeans and a white tee for a casual daytime look, or carry it as a clutch for a dressier evening look!
