BABE IN BLACK

IN BROOKE’S WORDS

Who says you have to wear red or pink for Valentine’s Day?

As a certified neutrals lover, I wanted to put together an example of a look that translates for the holiday while remaining true to my go-to color palette. This monochromatic moment from local boutique Lady Bird does just that!

An elevated all-black approach is perfect for a sleek & chic, unexpected take on the traditional Galentine’s party look or date night dinner attire.

Allison, Lady Bird’s owner, also put together her own darling charcoal number with a pop of contrast created by the accents of the pearly flowers!

CUPID DOES CASUAL

IN CHRISTINE’S WORDS

For a chic, casual look this Valentine’s Day, grab your favorite pair of denim and add pops of red.

Pairing this Alice & Olivia lips cardigan with the Celine silk scarf gives a playful, romantic vibe- perfect for an afternoon lunch.

Keeping the other elements (coat, earrings, shoes and purse) simple will keep you feeling elevated and perfectly dressed for the occasion.

FALLIN’ MEETS FORMAL

IN BRITT’S WORDS

We love a classic black moment for Valentine’s Day, but a winter white look with a few pops of black is festive while also coloring outside the lines a bit.

This fringe knit skirt feels flirty, but will also provide warmth in mid-February temperatures. Pairing it with a satin blouse also keeps the look romantic.

The black accessories add a little depth and edge, and we can’t forget our other favorite accessory of the season: faux fur.
