Outfitting 101: How to style your Maxi Dress

Let’s face it, it’s been a hot summer, and on these warm days the first thing we all tend to grab is a breezy frock. Good thing the maxi is perfectly on trend for this season!

This week we’ve taken one maxi dress and styled it 3 ways to show the versatility one piece can offer. So from sporty, to casual, to dressy, these looks will take you effortlessly from day right into night!

1.DRESS | 2. CLUTCH | 3. WRAP | 4. NECKLACE | 5. WEDGE | 6. BRACELET | 7. EARRING

Dressing up a maxi is always a good idea! With summer in mind, we opted for a lace up espadrilles paired to delicate yet bold statement jewelry that gives this look just the right balance of dressy sophistication. For a pop of color, we incorporated this multi-color python print clutch by Jimmy Choo that beautifully plays on the color of the maxi dress. And lastly, for a finishing touch, a linen scarf that can also be worn as a wrap for those cooler evenings!

1.DRESS | 2. HAT | 3. TOTE | 4. BELT | 5. SANDAL

Simply adding a wide brim hat and flat sandals to this dress allows it to work for a casual setting. The belt at the natural waist is chic, flatters the middle, and unifies this daytime look. Grab a large tote like this beautiful Celine, and you’re ready for your day!

1.DRESS | 2. BRACELET | 3. DENIM JACKET | 4. BACKPACK | 5. SNEAKER | 6. HAT

Can you wear this maxi dress sporty? Absolutely. Adding an athletic like trainer is always a good idea when wanting to embody a sporty style aesthetic. Also, reach for that ball cap! We absolutely love this one that is woven. The texture gives us a little extra FASHION! And lastly, add for your go-to denim jacket, a backpack purse and a cool leather wrap bracelet and you will have created the most perfect sporty look with your maxi dress!
