Runway Report: NYFW F/W ’26

Few things in a fashion lover’s world get us more excited than Fashion Week!

Our stylists kept a close eye on all the runways to form an extra special report, just for you. Discover the shows that they loved, the trends they’re seeings, and what inspired them from each collection.

DONNA KARAN

BEN’S TAKE:

One of the shades Donna Karan used in her show caught my eye; “Black cherry”, as she calls it, feels like an unexpected twist on the ever-popular brown we’ve seen for the last few seasons.

The monochromatic styling felt particularly inspiring to me with layered textures that add depth and intrigue.

Overall, the collection felt contemporary and sophisticated, yet accessible and effortless for the chic, city gal!

MICHAEL KORS

ELIZABETH’S TAKE:

I loved so many of the shows. But the Michael Kors Collection is the one that really caught my eye for our clients.

He focused on the classics and the pieces that build a foundational wardrobe: black turtlenecks, white wovens, black dresses and camel coats. And then they styled it so fresh and modern!

It’s so much of what we’re seeing this Spring, but true to Michael Kors, so chic!

ALTUZARRA

BRITT’S TAKE:

I enjoyed the Altuzarra show, especially for the outerwear.

I wasn’t expecting to be ready for fall/winter all over again when we haven’t even gotten through this one, but the colors, textures, and fabrications of the season were on full display.

He also played with proportions and layers in a fresh, wearable way that was inspiring for our current season as well.

TORY BURCH

WHITNEY’S TAKE:

My favorite show from NYFW was Tory Burch! It felt like such a beautiful reminder of why we invest in timeless pieces in the first place.

She reimagined classics we all own, like the trench coat, crewneck sweater, and pencil skirt, through unexpected color combinations and rich, exaggerated textures like bold corduroy and glossy patent leather.

It was thoughtful, wearable, and inspiring in a way that makes you want to fall back in love with the pieces already hanging in your closet.

KALLMEYER

CHRISTINE’S TAKE:

My favorite show was Kallmeyer. I loved her minimalistic approach and attention to detail.

The looks were effortless and seemed totally relatable to our clientele. Whether a pair of trousers with an oversized sweater or denim with a leather coat, she reminds us that sometimes less is more.

I thought the entire show was timeless perfection.

CALVIN KLEIN

BROOKE’S TAKE:

Calvin Klein’s minimalist aesthetic has always embodied confidence through simplicity and shape.

As women continue to rise into leadership roles and reshape corporate spaces, fashion naturally reflects that evolution. The line between menswear and womenswear continues to blur, mirroring the shift away from traditional workplace hierarchies.

These NYFW looks are polished, chic, and undeniably sophisticated.

ZANKOV

WHIT’S TAKE:

There were so many shows that I loved from fall 2026, but the display from Zankov delighted and inspired me immediately.

I often forget that getting dressed can be fun, intuitive, and experimental.  Colors, patterns, textures, lengths: these new combinations were an exploration in how interest can come from the mix and match of everyday pieces.

More so, it’s also a good reminder that sometimes rule breaking is necessary en route to finding our own personal style.

LAFAYETTE 148

CANDACE’S TAKE:

This year during the shows, I found myself super inspired by the Lafayette 148 presentation. Beautiful classic lines and soft tonal colors paired with really incredible styling.

I love when brands that have a standard style persona or “look” infuses a fresh dose of modernity into their aesthetic. It feels so quintessential Lafayette 148, yet so different in a good way!

Looking forward to sourcing some of the pieces for our clients once they are available later this fall.
