TEAM INSIDER: FALL TRENDS BREAKDOWN, PART 9 & 10 (BLAZER AND DRESS)

Friends and Fashionistas, if you are new to our weekly newsletter, welcome! This is our last week of breaking down the trends for fall, and we saved two of our favorites for last–the cropped blazer and the fall frock. Like last week, we are sharing with you our “Key Look”, as well as our top picks of pieces for each of these trends. We hope you enjoy! Oh, and stay tuned…we will be sharing with you our gift card promotion in the next few weeks, and you won’t want to miss it!!

Heading into “cozy season” the best way we know how…sweater dress style. While we love a great printed frock in chiffon fabrication, 2020 has proven that cozy chic is king. We love playing with the warm neutrals here and layering the dress with this fabulous olive cropped blazer. The blazer is the layering piece of the moment…last season we saw it oversized (still so important!) but this fall we’re also loving the cropped blazer. Pair the look with a slouchy boot, belt bag worn cross body, and a touch of shine with gold hoops and you are good to go–day or night!

BLAZERS:

Despite cooling temperatures, the cropped blazer is a must-have piece for this fall/winter for those seeking to add trend to their wardrobe. The double breasted look will look great on our ladies who are small framed on top, while the collarless blazer will be slimming for those with a larger chest or middle.

DRESSES:

Dresses come in many styles, lengths, and price points.  As a key trend, we narrowed our favorite dresses down to these three.  They demonstrate the range of versatility we are seeing this fall.  The mini with a sneaker and a denim jacket would be a great casual, on-the-go look.  The midi with a tall boot and accessorized with layered necklaces is as chic as they come.  Finally, dress up this silk dress with a leather jacket and a pump for a night for a night out.
