TEAM INSIDER: Looks For A Sweet Valentine’s Day 2020

Valentine’s Day is just over a week away! We’ve been dreaming of sweet looks for every occasion… so no matter how you are spending the holiday, we’ve got something for you! The Wardrobe Therapy team put together a dose of inspiration to make your celebration extra special. From date night to sleepwear to striking men’s looks, we’ve covered it all!

Fancy Date Night
For a dressy outing, perhaps dinner at M or The Top, we are keeping it sophisticated, romantic, and high fashion-focused yet sexy. The asymmetrical pleated skirt is a conversation starter… elegant and edgy. Pairing it with an ultra fem blouse keeps the look balanced, while bringing in an element of romance. Grounding the look with these delicious crocodile-embossed boots is the icing on the cake! We love the flirtiness achieved by this stunning Carolina Bucci heart ring, and of course a pop of red YSL in honor of this sweet holiday! Swoon!!!

Fireside Chic & Movie Night In
Staying in and getting cozy by the fire? Maybe you’re watching a Romantic Comedy with family or friends? Leggings still play fair game in the fashion arena… with a twist! Remove your Lululemon look by day, and throw on these new favorite faux leather leggings. All the comfort, yet so chic! We like it styled back to an oversized sweater (that looks like a sweatshirt, with just a bit more style for day) and for night, feel free to get comfy (and still subtly sexy) with an off-the-shoulder sweater.

Date Night Menswear Edition
Valentine’s Day style is equally as important for our gents! For a fancy night out on the town with your better half, we believe a dark denim is a good way to go! It feels elevated and polished, but you still get the comfort of denim. From there, layering in a few elements that feel extra festive… a light pink woven paired with a burgundy quarter-zip is definitely a route you can take. To ground those two pieces, we love the idea of a neutral colored sport coat like this one. And for finishing details, a brown suede dress shoe, along with a complimentary brown suede belt and a pocket square will really seal the deal! Hello handsome!

Workday To Date Night
Planning to head right from work to your holiday festivities? We love a statement blazer and Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to wear this bold red color. Paired with a feminine cami and a wide-legged trouser pant, all you need is a quick change of shoes to take this look from day to night! You can keep the blazer buttoned up for day, but think about draping it over your shoulders for night… oh-so-sexy!

Breakfast In Bed & Cozy Chic
For the gal staying in for movie night, or enjoying a sweet home-cooked dinner, we love a good element of surprise! Treat yourself to a new sleepwear set to cozy up next to your hunny in to unwind… that says it all! Firstly, you’ll look and feel fabulous. Secondly, your Valentine will love seeing you in a whole new outfit. Rather than a revealing piece, we love a knockout pajama set or nightgown! Best part is, you’ll be able to wear it on the reg… talk about a win-win!
