The wide-leg pant has reigned supremacy as the most worn pant 0ver the last five years. We love a wide-leg pant for any season, and as you can tell, they go with pretty much every shoe.

Thanks to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance, the flared and bootcut silhouettes have exploded in popularity. This silhouette is great with a slimmer profile shoe. Our favorite combination is a flared or bootcut with a heel or loafer.

The slim and straight leg have replaced the infamous skinny jean (for now, at least). We love a straight and slim leg with slimmer or strappier shoe options. When wearing a flat shoe with this silhouette, remember to show a little ankle to allow your legs to stay long and lean.

The barrel pant has recently become a popular silhouette. While this pant can be tricky when it comes to styling, it also allows for more playful shoe pairings. Since the leg is so dramatic, we recommend keeping the shoe more simple. The only shoe we would avoid pairing with the barrel pant is a chunky sneaker.
