TRENDING NOW: Accessories That Pack a Punch

Continuing the sentiment from our Timeless Versus Trendy blog post, this season is all about the reimagining of timeless pieces—those essential items that anchor a wardrobe, styled in new ways. Accessories have become increasingly vital in keeping our looks from becoming stale. From emotional support bags to pointed-toe flats, we are seeing a resurgence of old classics in a refreshing way! Keep reading to see how our team styles these trending accessories for spring.

DRESS | SANDALS | BAG | BRACELET | SUNGLASSES

One major standout on the runways this season was the oversized tote, or as we like to call it, the “Emotional Support Bag“! The bigger the better, and we are even having fun with color! This green Bottega is to die for, and we love it with a frock for a lovely daytime look or, dare we say, a vacation-ready ensemble!

BLAZER | DENIM | TANK | BELT | PUMPS | BAG

Belts on belts on belts! The accessory that’s making the biggest impact in the fashion world today. Often overlooked by other accessories, belts are making a strapping comeback!!  Whether styled boldly to be the hero of your outfit or more subtly, the belt is a great way to accentuate your waist and/or add some flare to a simple outfit.  With so many ways to wear a belt, we love it cinched over a blazer, worn with jeans, a simple white tank, and heels for an elevated, casual look.

BUTTON-DOWN | DENIM | CHOKER | SANDALS | BAG

A sweet accessory we love this season that we saw carry over from last summer is the rosette. Adorned on swimwear, simple tops, and worn as a brooch on a dinner jacket are all chic in our book….but one way to make it a little more fresh for spring is by tying it around your neck as a choker. This creates a dressy vibe in white, so we actually love pairing it down with denim and a white button-down for a cool daytime feel. This look is perfect for an afternoon lunch or casual dinner.

TOP | DENIM SHORTS | BELT | FLATS | EARRINGS | BAG

No one did the ballet flat better than Marissa Cooper á la The OC circa 2004, but the flat is back in a big way. We love the pointed-toe options we saw all over the runways because they’re such a flattering style for all body types. The pointed toe visually elongates the leg, even for our petite gals when they’re sans heels. This buttery yellow pair, complete with a rosette detail, checks off the spring/summer trend boxes. The pointed-toe flat serves as a great alternative to a pump in workwear, but it can also elevate a high-low casual look when paired with an off-the-shoulder knit tucked into a denim short to keep the look feeling balanced.
