TRENDING NOW: Power Suiting

Power Suiting is a timeless phenomenon we have seen reinvented year after year. Originating from Coco Chanel in the 1920s, the Power Suit was designed to give women the feeling of masculine power for the first time. Although Power Suiting was originally designed to be a jacket and skirt, it has molded to the needs of modern-day women. From matching suits to separates, we are going to show you all the relevant ways to style a suit for Fall!

BLAZER | PANT | SHIRT | BELT | SHOES | EARRINGS | SCARF | BAG

When approaching our fully-suited moment, we love the idea of looking for more of a casual persona. Less suited and more of that effortlessly chic vibe we are seeing everywhere. To showcase this, we opted for a moderately priced suit from Mayson The Label, that can be worn together or deconstructed. For the more suited approach, we opted for a chic milky-colored long-sleeve tee and a wine-colored ankle boot. To complete the look, we focused on really accessorizing by adding a scarf and suede belt for a textural element. A colored bag for a dose of color pop to compliment the boots. And lastly, an oversized gold earring!

BLAZER | PANT | SHIRT | SHOES | SCARF | BAG

We love an outfit that can take you from your casual work day to a happy hour or dinner. Pairing a sophisticated blazer with a simple white tee and some denim is a great way to make this transition. The pinstripe blazer by Alice + Olivia elevates your evening look and will become a staple in your wardrobe. Add a scarf for chillier weather and some jewelry and you’re set. It’s hard to beat this effortless look!

SWEATER | SKIRT | SHIRT | SHOES | HAT | BAG

We cannot get enough of the workwear trend for Fall in all iterations! When it comes to workwear skirts, we are getting a modern fresh update to the silhouette, length, and overall styling. Opt for a slightly longer length and more relaxed feel. Solid black is classic and if you’re feeling bold look for skirts with texture or even a pinstripe! Of course, the skirt is not just for the office. Dress it down with sneakers and a baseball hat like this chic casual look for a weekend of running around the city.
