Team Insider: Activewear Dressing for All Silhouettes

It’s a New Year! Not only are so many of us still working/homeschooling/surviving from home, but it’s the beginning of a new year, and that ALWAYS means workout season is at it’s peak! For that, this week we are showcasing several go-to athleisure looks that cover all shapes and silhouettes. 2021, let’s do this!

RECTANGLE – Street to Studio Style

JACKET | SHOES | TANK | LEGGINGS
For our straight figured gal, we encourage accentuating the waist line to create the illusion of curves. That’s why this faux wrap detail on the tank is perfect for her. And the sherpa hoodie is totally on trend for the season. This look is also great for someone who may have more of an inverted triangle shape–highlighting a slimmer lower half, while flattering the top region with a top that accentuates the waist, and jacket that draws the eye down from the bust/shoulders!

HOURGLASS – Chic Hiking Style

SWEATER JACKET | PANT | BEANIE | BOOTS

For the Hourglass shape, we look for a yoga pant that sits high on the natural waist to best flatter the middle. The flare at the bottom of the pant falls in line with the hips, which helps align and accent the balanced shape. A top such as this option that cinches in at the middle accentuate a slimmer waistline.

APPLE – Yoga-to-Loungewear

JACKET | LEGGINGS | TANK | SNEAKERS
We are loving the matching set right now, especially in light, neutral tones. This powder blue set feels über chic, modern, and is just a touch off of the expected neutral color with it’s hint of grey tones. The jacket is quite flattering with it’s form-fitting shape–perfect for the woman who needs a layer that helps square her shoulderso-=. The tank underneath is roomy in the middle, which helps disguise for the curvier apple shape. It can be tucked in the front, however, to show a more narrow middle for those shapes that need more accentuating in the waist.

PETITE: Fresh The Walker

JACKET | SWEATER | LEGGING | SNEAKERS
The  7/8  leggings are a petite gal’s best friend as they will hit at or just below ankle. And the the crop top sweater will sit right at your natural waist line. Wear your leggings with a matching color shoe to visually elongate your legs and you’re ready to hit the road for a brisk walk or run! P.S. Lululemon offers free hemming if your favorite pair is too long;)ij=
