Elizabeth

Michael Kors

In her words: The sophistication that Michael Kors brought to the runway was so inspiring. It was all the styling details, from belts and sheer to fringe detail and soft shoulders, on classic silhouettes that instantly became WOW factors once styled! Each look I watched became more chic and coveted!

Christine & Whit

Brandon Maxwell

In Christine’s words: I was inspired by his sense of playfulness! His looks embodied elegance and ease and reminded me that fashion, if nothing else, should be fun. Cowhide, fringe, silks, powerful belts, zoo animals – he put it all out there. I loved it!
In Whit’s words: I loved a lot of NYFW this year, but the show that brought a smile to my face was Brandon Maxwell. It truly blended modern sophistication with a pop of whimsy – a perfect match because fashion shouldn’t be so serious! From blazers or skirts in fun graphics and prints to exaggerated items like big belts, I would mix one of these statement pieces with my classic staples to bring my whole look together.

Whitney

Celine

In her words: One of my favorite shows was Celine, with new creative director Michael Rider debuting his first show with Celine. His Ralph Lauren roots were woven throughout the show, which could definitely be what drew me to it! American Sportswear meets everyday chic. I loved the tailored clean lines of the blazers and coats mixed with the effortless movement of the dresses and flow in the trousers. These were looks that will translate easily to real-life wear this Spring!

Britt

Ralph Lauren

In her words: Ralph Lauren, an American classic. Also classic was Lauren’s color palette: only black and white, with a few pops of red. With sticking to such a confined color scheme, the interest was achieved through silhouettes, textures like sheer and leather, peeks of skin, stripes as the solo print, and great accessories. Truly, the styling brought the concept to life. Each look felt ready for a day in The Hamptons, synonymous with Lauren.

Candace

Altuzarra

In her words: Altuzarra was a personal favorite for me. For the last several seasons, I’ve been really captivated by their runway styling…it feels fresh, imaginative yet wearable. The S/S ’26 collection showcased varying exaggeration shapes and silhouettes, which was intended to convey this “time capsule” idea that the designer was inspired by. From the 40s to the 80s, I loved the dreamy ease of all the pieces showcased.

Todd Snyder

In his words: With the theme of “summer escape,” Todd Snyder merged 1950s charm with Miami in the 1980s, giving a nod to Havana. Easy fabrics, fun patterns and stripes, and whimsical accessories give a great recipe for a relaxing spring/summer vibe and an escape from the winter.
